Which is the right paper for my book?
Offset papers are a good all round economic paper that can give good representations of half-tones, but still have a reasonable bulk for a quality feel.
A popular choice for academic and business books.
Bookwove papers are a bulkier paper designed to give books a high quality feel. Not suited to heavily illustrated work.
A popular choice for novels and poetry books.
Silk papers are designed to give excellent quality half-tone reproduction but the china clay coating means a reduced bulk.

Which book size should I choose?
Choosing which book size to produce your book at is entirely your personal choice. However we would recommend that you try and stick to a common book size as not only will this make your title more appealing to bookshops (they don’t like odd sized books) but it will also make it more economical to print.
